TWIST THE TONGUE

"In Rome behave like ROMAN". So do I, trying to copy the Brits in day-to-day life.
Few Synopsis
You say "thank you" for every action other do in your favour. Its quite old so why dont say CHEERS.
Replying with "OKIE DOKIE" sounds more close than just OK,OKAY or OKHAY.
Alright, just dont say it plain, add some accent to it Al........Right!!!
DUKE or BLOKE =a male
HiYa= "Hello, welcome, what you want?"

And yes I am BUSY doing NOTHING!!!

Missing in Machester

’Missing!Missing! Missing !, a young dynamic Indian s/w engineer is missing from Manchester’; would have been news of Monday in leading news papers of Manchester if I didn’t reach my guest house in time on Sunday. Barbara was worried about me since I wasn’t in the guest house for last two days and she wasn’t completely aware of my plans to visit Chester and Manchester. She told me, she would have informed police if I didn’t reach the guest house till Monday. She was deeply concerned about me especially on the background of racism and anti war protest atmosphere. But I was happy that someone there to worry for me.

The journey started from Chester to Manchester by train. Reached Manchester PICADILLY station by 13:00 and went to Trafford centre by Tram followed by Bus. The journey was mixed but transport here is so well managed that one cant be lost besides his will. Brits are good in management (never heard them working).

Huge would be a small word to describe Trafford centre. It has almost everything from food courte, gadget shops, multiplex cinemas and virtually anything you imagine under the roof. Our bollywood has made its presence felt by having FOUR screens of the UCI cinema running Hindi movies. Now I understood why these places are called ‘Shopping Centers’, after going there you lure to buy something. Don’t know for sure but these contribute a lot in running the Economy of a country.
This time the return journey was with GoByCoach…. yes this time I cached it.

Sometimes you can’t afford to miss few things but I was really missing (in) Manchester.

HOME... AWAY FROM HOME

Saturday was Sunny and I came out with great plan to visit Trafford Centre. By the time I reach Hanley station, I missed the GoByCoach bus. I missed many buses/trains of my life, this missing was quite favorable for me since I immediately planned to visit Manoj's place in Chester. Nevertheless to mention, I mastered the art of traveling. I changed the buses, trains frequently and reached Chester comfortably.

Chester has great ROMAN heritage and it’s been well preserved. Manoj has got his house is prime area and is walking distance from his work-place (Not all people have that luxury). Shruti, our vahinni made the delicious bhaji, nan and pulao. I simply relished it (I was eating Indian food after a long haul of 40 days). Vahini got friendly very soon (Very few are gifted with this ability). Browsed the net (AOL has toll-free number, no worries of telephone bills). Listened the bollywood songs.
It was cream on the cake when there was conference call with Majid and Shiva, calling all the way from other shore of Atlantic.
I just felt back home.
